What people say....
I originally bought this piece over 5 years ago. I have worn this piece to festivals, fairs, parties, MANY larp events, and more. I have beaten it with steel weapons, left it in the rain, wore it through every weather imaginable. Ive never had a Rivet pop loose, or a piece fall apart through tons of abuse. Im wearing it now thinking on how I want to upgrade my worn armor. This will always be a treasured piece. When I first ordered this, I had a LARP event the coming up weekend. This was created and delivered to my door in less than a week. I live in Ohio, USA. Incredible service.
So I have a tendency to like big pouches for larp and get annoyed at them easily when I cant fit all I want in them. But actually one big pouch for your ooc wallet, two for in character resources, writing implements and ic money, you can even fit a sarnie in there. These are really good and I am so happy with the product. It is sturdy and has been well designed and the stitching is amazing.
Excellent item for my pirate costume. The only problem is... now my wife wants one as well!
Brilliant. I bought mine 12 years ago, and have been wearing it in rain, sun and even snow every year since, and it's still going. Our group's uniform includes these hats, and everyone from the mighty giants to the tiny porgs is more than happy with these hats. Great quality, the best you'll find on the market especially at this price.
Excellent, very impressed, fits sword perfectly. Very well made.
This back scabbard arrived faster than I anticipated and in very good quality. Holds my dagger snugly in the small of my back and does not interfere with combat or sitting (though not tested in a camp chair yet). Only improvement would be to have a tighter clasp, but my weapon has a cross guard so falling out is still impossible. And I also understand that it is better to be slightly too big than too small.
This item among others arrived very quickly and in fantastic condition. Sword slides in nicely and at an angle that will be unlikely to fall out. The velvet lining although isn't needed protection for the type of weapon, it is still useful and aesthetic.
You can walk round a dozen larp traders and find pouches that are not strong enough, don’t open far enough or are generally too small. These pouches were my personal ‘product of the year’. Well made, strong and just the kind of size you can shove a load of treasure in. If I still ran my LRP zine I’d be recommending them in that, for now I’m buying them for in game use and for my system.
I bought the single version to strap to my Baldric. It’s very well made and looks great sitting just above the buckle. It’s slightly too small to put a “Baccy Tin” in but great for storing my tabbacco, rizla’s and a lighter. Also the service from Darkblade was excellent. I can’t recommend them enough.
Not only was I extremely impressed with both the quality and price of this item, the service was also amazing. I requested my Baldric with some custom alterations due to my height and existing sword dimensions, and the guys at Darkblade delivered with ease, even despite my email to them incorrectly autocorrecting my dimensions twice. Can happily recommend these guys for quality, customer service and speed of delivery.
just received my holster this morning in the mail, and im more than impressed! i had to order a custom version of this holster for a hand blunderbuss and wasnt charged extra! i wish i could express how satisfying it is to put my pistol into this holster and how it fits perfectly and makes that "holster" sound of a gun being put in, like a movie!
I got this armour with my scabbard, it was complimented by my fellow adventurers. It is very well made and comfortable, I just put it over my warm tunic, belted up my sword and got stuck in. 5 KG of goodness, a bit shiny but that's elves for you, I'm just wearing it in and it looks good enough down the mead hall with my fellow barbarians.
I love mine had it for at less three years now and still looks great. Use it for the Robin Hood Festival and fits in great with all the medieval costumes, always get asked where I got it. If having a real sword hanging against it for up to 11 hour a day hasn’t done it any harm along with going through bracken to hunt outlaws doubt much will. Easier change it up with different trousers or shirts and by taken the sleeves off and on. Would rather give up any of my more expensive medieval dresses that this, plus it’s a lot cooler in the summer than they are.
I have 2 of these, 1 right hand draw & 1 left hand draw. I purchased them separately, a few years apart. High quality leather & hardware. Very well built & durable. Simple to use. I use these w/ foam LARP daggers. Dark Blade produces really nice items. I'll be buying more from them in the future. I highly recommend Dark Blade.
really comfortable, longer than I expected (I'm 5ft 7 and it comes to just below my knees) so it's more of a dress on me but theres lots of space to move in it, running is no problem. The Mustard colour is really nice too. Highly reccommend
When you need an awesome hand cannon, this is the one. And it go boom.
This fits perfectly on my weapon belt, hanging neatly between the straps of my scabbard. Very handy.
Great bit of kit, well made really comfy and can be worn over or under armour for a cushioning layer or insulation
Absolutely superb. I bought one of these for larp kit and decided use it for a bit to break it in, and love it enough that I now want a second one so that I have one for the field and one for work.
This belt is really thick leather, top quality, practically bullet proof
